Frequently Asked Questions
Clarity for the disciplined. Understanding the HIGHNET ecosystem.
Membership & Access
How do I get an invite to HighNet?
HighNet is strictly invite-only to protect quality and focus. Invites are given by existing members who personally vouch for new people, or through a very limited application process during specific windows. We keep the community small and intentional by design — quality of conversation matters more than quantity of members.
What are the criteria for being accepted?
We look for genuine commitment to personal growth, discipline, and respectful interaction. We review your application statement, any referral, and alignment with our values (privacy, focus, integrity). We prioritize quality of character over popularity or credentials.
Can I invite friends or people I know?
Yes — once you're a member, you receive a limited number of invite codes. Use them thoughtfully: only for people you genuinely believe will respect the space and contribute meaningfully.
Privacy & Data
How private is HighNet really?
HighNet does not sell or share your data with advertisers or third parties for profit. We do not run ads or use tracking algorithms. Personal messages are end-to-end encrypted. Your profile and activity are visible only to people you allow. We follow strict privacy standards (including NDPR compliance). Your data is yours — request deletion at any time.
Is HighNet anonymous?
HighNet is built on trusted, accountable identities — we encourage real names to foster genuine connection and responsibility. However, we do allow limited anonymous posting (for example, up to 5 anonymous posts per month per user) to give flexibility when someone needs to share something vulnerable or sensitive without revealing their identity. Beyond that limit, posts are tied to your real profile. This balance protects both openness and accountability.
What happens to my data if I leave?
You can delete your account at any time. Upon deletion, your personal identifiers are removed. Anonymized contributions (e.g., public posts) may remain to preserve the integrity of ongoing discussions, but your identity is unlinked.
Platform Experience
How is HighNet different from other social platforms?
We removed everything that distracts from real growth: no algorithmic feeds designed to addict, no public like counts, no ads, no viral pressure. HighNet is intentionally built for focused interaction, deep reading, and meaningful exchange — not endless scrolling.
Is there a mobile app?
HighNet is currently a web-based platform, accessible from any device with a modern browser — phones, tablets, laptops, or desktops. We focus on delivering a clean, high-signal experience that works consistently across all screens without needing a native app right now. A dedicated mobile experience is planned, but for the moment, app.highnet.space is the way to access everything.
Are there any rules I should know before joining?
Yes — HighNet has simple guidelines to protect the space:
- Be honest and respectful
- No spam, hate, or off-topic content
- No self-promotion or links without context
- Respect others' privacy and journeys
Future & Support
What's coming next for HighNet?
We're in very early stages, focusing on core sharing and a calm experience. Future additions include private Circles for focused groups, personal streak tracking (Kairos), and gentle AI assistance (Nestor) — all built with community input while staying true to privacy and no-noise principles.
